Dr. Juilee joined our hospital in July of 2021 working as a Veterinary Technician while studying to complete the testing to have her Veterinary licensing obtained here in Canada. Originally from India, she obtained her licensing there and spent about 7 months there working with cats and dogs before moving to New Zealand. She spent a few years practicing in New Zealand with the large animals and while completing her post graduate studies and found a true passion for the veterinary field. She moved to Canada in December of 2019 to join her husband here and worked in a few veterinary clinics in the area as a receptionist, veterinary technician, or even veterinary assistant to keep herself in the field. When she joined our hospital, she found her new home away from home.

Our doctors took the time to help prepare her for the veterinary exams she would need to complete to have her license to practice here in Canada. She successfully completed her exams in the spring of 2022 and transitioned from working as a veterinary technician to one of our full time Doctors. She found the support and staff we have at our hospital to be a wonderful fit for what she was looking for. Our wide variety of appointments gave her ample opportunity to see more than just the standard wellness and vaccine appointments and has brought out her passion for emergency medicine. A wonderful addition to our Veterinary team, she loves caring for all of the patients that come into our hospital and continues to grow and further develop her skills every day.
