About Us

St. Catharines Animal Hospital was opened in 2011 by Dr. Bassem Boctor, a long-time local resident who has been serving the community for many years through his mobile practice since 2006. After having to establish a large clientele through his popular Home Care visits, Dr. Boctor decided to expand his practice in 2011 to now also include a full-service veterinary hospital to better serve the St. Catharines community. Through hard work and dedication, Dr.Boctor was able to expand the clinic in 2017 to meets the demanding needs of all of our beloved patrons. The expansion involved bringing a second veterinarian, Dr.Sam on full time, extra examination rooms, and a larger treatment area. We also added extra feline and canine kennels for sick patients and boarding capabilities, a large isolation room, and a dental suite. With an advanced in house laboratory, and digital x-ray we are able to help quickly diagnose your pets needs.

We are happy to take scheduled appointments, as well as walk-ins, emergencies, and at-home visits. We have maintained long hours throughout the week and are even open on Saturdays to help ensure we are able to see your pets on your own schedule.
